Year one assumes 12 months of the selected monthly upkeep and entered hosting cost. Blank third-party expenses are omitted, not supplied for free. No taxes, promotions, prepaid discounts, additional care labor, hosting overages or unpriced custom work are included. Higher-traffic or complex care scopes may require a separate quote; this tool models the selected standard plan only.

A Landing Website is $795 for one focused page, including responsive design, contact / lead capture, basic on-page SEO and analytics, one revision round and 30 days of post-launch defect fixes. The Business Website is $1,495 for up to five custom-designed pages, with basic booking integration, two revision rounds and the same defect-fix window. The Professional Website is $2,495 for up to ten pages, advanced responsive layouts, enhanced lead capture, standard booking integrations and three revision rounds.
A page count helps choose a starting package; it does not define all project complexity. Ecommerce, bespoke applications, complex integrations and extra pages require a separate quote. Hosting, domains, subscriptions and third-party services remain separate unless your written agreement includes them.
How is the first-year cost calculated?
Year-one estimate = standard build fee + 12 × (selected monthly upkeep + entered monthly hosting) + entered annual domain cost + other entered first-year costs. Standard projects use a 50% build deposit at signing and the remaining 50% before final launch or transfer. Those installments divide the build fee; they are not extra charges.
Is ongoing upkeep required?
No. Upkeep is optional. Essential is $79/month; Care is $149/month and includes up to 30 minutes of small content edits; Priority is $249/month and includes up to 90 minutes. Activities depend on your platform and agreement. Unused edit time does not roll over. Extra work beyond the included allowance is $75/hour in 15-minute increments with prior written approval; it is not included in this estimate. Hosting, provider usage charges and paid licenses are separate. Traffic alone does not automatically multiply the care fee. Approved prepaid discounts, if applicable, are confirmed in a quote and are not applied here.
What does a $1,495 website cost in year one?
As a chosen example, a Business Website plus 12 months of Essential Upkeep is $2,443 before hosting, domains, taxes and other excluded expenses: $1,495 + (12 × $79). The standard build deposit is $747.50 and the later build balance is $747.50. This example does not automatically select or commit you to upkeep.
What if I need more than ten pages or custom features?
The result becomes a known-cost subtotal. Unpriced custom work remains unknown and must be added after scoping. A low subtotal is not a price promise for a custom project. Timelines, content responsibilities, access and acceptance criteria are agreed separately.
