Your scenario.

Regular federal corporate income tax only. Shareholder, payroll and state taxes are separate. Read the limitations below.

Understand
the estimate.

Method and example.

The regular federal corporate income-tax component is 21% of positive federal taxable income. A $100,000 taxable-income example produces $21,000 tax and a $79,000 arithmetic remainder. That remainder is not a bank balance, distributable cash or shareholder take-home pay.

Corporation versus shareholder.

Corporate tax and shareholder taxes are separate. Dividends and personal gifts to family are not automatically deductible business expenses. Distributing profit can create additional shareholder tax, which is not calculated here. A personal allocation of profit does not reduce the corporate tax base.

What is excluded?

Shareholder taxes, payroll taxes, state/franchise taxes, corporate alternative minimum tax, credits, NOL limitations, special deductions, international rules, tax payments and penalties. This tool assumes you have already established regular federal taxable income. Negative income and loss carryovers require a separate analysis. Do not use the output as a complete corporate return or required estimated payment.
